Laying down this vino for two additional years has served it well.

2010 the closest I can get to Sangantino in NZ I had been listening to Monty Warden’s Italian Wine Podcast rave about Montefalco it very gives the Sangiovese a stern backbone rich crimson some oak on the nose cherries and tart rhubarb. The perils of being at the bottom of the Pacific is some wines are not available, mind you the great kiwi and Aussie wines make up for some of the loss.

Game 7. Enticing nose and a long, soaring palate. Dark red fruits, particularly cherry, and a bucket of spice. Soft tannin and licorice finish. Delicious
