Cheesy label. Bad art. But it’s a man, and that fits the tie-in to the name I guess. The color is good and the wine smells good. Like baked berries and sunbaked shingles. The taste is nice too. A complex and dense Zin. Has plenty of jammy blackberry and black cherry fruit. Also a hint of savory olive/teriyaki beef. This is nice ‘fancy’ foothills Zin that has aged well.

Nov 3rd, 2026Berry cherry bonanza on the nose. Hint of alcohol and mineral oils. Flavors are very rich and berry-bound. Bit of tar and burnt pepper skin. Some decent tannins. Awful label.
