Not good with chocolate.
Excellent accompaniment to chili-lime beef jerky: the lime and sli y salts pick up the prune of the wine; the chewy befit bits accentuate the slight astringency perfectly; the chili kicker at the end fills in for the missing pepper that one wishes from the wine alone.
