Beautiful shades of purple, hazy, and looks dense. Nice nose of leather, a bit sweet oak, cedar wood, anise, grassy, hotness of alcohol, and some subtle seasoning spice like thyme. Taste of powerful tannins, dry, anise, cherry, peppery, oak, a bit zesty, and chocolate. Aftertaste is also decent with just a bit too much sulfate note. This wine is awesome with her flavors so rich and price so low. She makes you wonder why paying so much for a bottle.

I got this bottle as a present and though, not my usual, but what the hay. It's not the worst wine I've ever had, but tastes artificially oaked. Kinda like burnt wood straight out of the fire pit.

Considering the price, you cannot beat this as a bottle of everyday wine. Not too sweet and just dry enough to keep me coming back.
