Very deep purple in color with prominent tearing. Aromas of blackberry and dark chocolate with fainter notes of violets, vanilla, and spice. Full bodied and velvety in texture with ripe dark fruit on the palate. Medium high alcohol, medium tannins, and medium acidity.
