This was a pleasant surprise. Not sure what to expect but on opening was a bit tight but once it had a chance the flavor a showed , lots of dark fruit, hints of spice and some tannins. Really quite good for the price, not overly ripe , so was enjoyable for a variety you don't see too often.

Nov 21st, 2016This label looks like a bottle of plant-based brake fluid. Not a great look for a pretty ropey wine. Their zinfandel, which they insisted was excellent, was shite. This petite sirah wasn't much better. It had an acidic, inky mouthfeel and had about as much balance as a two legged dog. They we're in the company of some seriously heavy hitting wineries, and will need to step it up if they want to sell some wine. - Ross Gardiner
