Deliciously old-school Cal Chardonnay in the best way. Brings back memories of the 1980s. Toasty buttery barrel fermentation notes, ripe orchard fruit, earthy lemon oil on the nose. More restrained on the palate, with oak, stony minerals, and fruit in equal measure. Bone dry. Good acids. Reminds me of a Pouilly-Fuisse that’s on the oakier end of the spectrum. Nicely done.

Smooth, pineappley and oak free. Enjoy with strawberry avocado salad and good friends.

Define oak taste but very balanced and not too dry.

A little more malo than I prefer; but still great flavor. Would be good with shellfish.
