1999. Still fresh & vibrant with classic tar & roses notes. Lots of structure and fine ripe tannins and nice sweet fruit too. Delighted to taste a Barbaresco which has lasted so well. Fab!

2001 vintage was still incredibly youthful. Floral, licorice, eucalyptus, tar and as it sat the plum started coming out.
