Continuing on the blackberry and vanilla trail tonight but this one is punched up by smoke, thyme, and oregano. 🌿

Deep , dry, less fruit , classic style Shiraz,

Seems abt right for the modest price paid. Dark fruits, earthy but not yet barnyard-ey.

A cool climate Shiraz with bright fruits more typical of the Vale. Delicious

Bitter almond on the nose. Muted at first but then a nice burst of black currant, citrus and faint vanilla finish

Interesting stalky vibe going on

Biodynamic producer from McLaren Vale. Single vineyard, 20% whole cluster fermented with wild yeasts. Decanted about an hour, shows elegant blackberry, mullberry, black cherry, sandalwood, leather, mild brown sugar, fresh tarragon and basil. Fine grained tannins with a freshness to the fruit. Good complexity.

Bright cherry aromas touch of white flowers and tobacco. Soft spice with medium to heavy tannic structure, low-med acidity, very balanced easy drinker
