Second wine of the evening. Dark, highly extracted in the glass. Nose of bramble berry and smoke. Transitions to plum, cherry fruit and carnations. Soft finish with a dash of spice. Decanted twice.

1hr+ decant. Lovely dark red/purple color. Still has years left in it. Blue fruit with cedar and car exhaust (in a good way!). Well integrated as only Paul can do. So definitive I could guess this blind every time. Love it! Medium plus depth and finish. Would love to try this side by side with Pontet Canet. This rocks!!

It doesn’t really wow me like other Napa wine about same price. I open this few years ago, definitely taste like artificial chemical ( bubble gum flavor) . Now it taste little better but probably more like $40/ bottle not $100!

PNP - Fabulous nose, absolutely killer aromatics! Very deep concentration at this point! The best this “regular” multi-Vineyards
Napa Valley offering has delivered. Really good now! Better than earlier in the life of this 2012!
