This has to be one of the earlier vintages of this one (can’t recall when Hobbs started making syrah, but it was definitely around this time). Really terrific wine. Has lost a bit of its tannic bite but still has plenty of fruit and great balance. Was still drinking exceptionally well after putting a cork in it and in the fridge for a few days, so there’s definitely some additional staying power with this one. Great wine from a fantastic producer.
