At 15 years, it’s Past it’s golden years... this has a brief drinking window 20 minutes after opening for 20 minutes and then turned to carmalized root beer. In those 20 minutes there was evidence of a good life lived.

It is hard to get a better Pinot than Paul Hobbs, particularly the Hyde. Consistently excellent.

Jul 8th, 2016Paul Hobbs wines are always well crafted and the Hyde Pinot has always been one of my favorites. Big flavors, with tons of red fruit that explodes on your palate. Yet, the wine wine is very well balanced and has aged beautifully.

This has to be one of the best Pinot Noirs I've had. Wonderful, lively fruit, berries and just fresh. Terrific.
