Goodness. Made my wife take a double take upon first smell. Dark deep ruby color. Nose is 1er Cru Burg serious, wet stones, juicy black fruits and tension between all elements. Wish I had more than one or two more bottles.

Strawberries, leather, clove, tobacco, dried cherries, cedar, and a touch of smoke. Awesome acid. Manages to have opulence and tension. Lively on the palette, with dark earth. Delicious.
