2015 Mornington peninsula Pinot. Made By Patrick Sullivan. "natural", fresh, clean (!) good. 👍🍷

Feb 19th, 2016This is actually Pat's 'A Mother's Love' Pinot Noir. Blue fruits, cranberry, tomato, super juicy as per Pat's red style, minimal tannin, crunchy acid. This has Pat's name all over it, certainly no terroir evident. Absolutely delicious but really just glorified juice. I cannot wait to taste some vino from Sullivan's own farm.

Jan 6th, 2017Plastic gloves on the nose, moving to intense redcurrant with high acidity and a bit of spritz. "Left of centre" is an understatement for this unfiltered muddy red looking Pinot. Interesting though

Jul 17th, 2016Vibrant, fresh and lively, with a bracing acidity which borders on vinegary. I like the cloudy appearance. Fun and different; rough around the edges.

May 6th, 2016needs a long decant to open up, we matched with pumpkin ravioli and home-made red sauce, the wine tonight went from sour cherries to black olives and eventually macerated strawberries. Challenging but rewarding, good stuff.
