La Rousse Malbec

incredibly juicy, light like a Pinot noir, yet with big black cherry notes, somewhat crisp/citric/ refreshing like a white

Good for when your merlot fails you.

Deep ruby with juicy red berries and plum, leather and cocoa aromas, balanced acidity, smooth tannins, medium finish, good food wine, lighter than most Malbecs but full flavored, great for Summer. Cassis and blackberry flavors popped out after 20-30 minutes.

It is not often to find a pure #Malbec from this region and I must say I like the #licorice #blackberry ones yet #spiced and hint of #smoky . Not bad for the price . Good #everydaywine
