Deep purple at first. Decanted, notes from 2 hrs open. On the nose: cured meat, blackberry, toast, and a touch of charcoal. On the palate, good acidity, olive brine, smoked meat, loads of blackberry. Fimish is a touch short, and could be more dense, soft tannin on the finish. Very varietally correct, but just lacking something. Not bad.

Violent. An attack on the palate. Lots of makeup on this, but still doesn't make it very pretty. Opened to more classic Syrah notes.
