Very fresh and "fruity".

Grippy tannins; firm underlying structure. Decent acidity but not exactly persistent to me. I'd love to try this again in five years.

Really classic wine. On the nose, meat, pepper and dark fruit. In the mouth, dark fruit, cracked pepper, rare beef and iron. Good acid. Long finish. Needs years or lots of time. Quite nice.

Way too young but plenty to deliver after decanting. There is the richness of the vintage with a strong underlying tension and freshness.

Super tight and closed off, but 45 minutes changed the game completely. Licorice at the back end, and all dark red fruit up front.
