2018 vintage. Green apple, lime, green pineapple, green bean, chive blossom, chalk. Good ripe style of SB, but definitely distinctive. Revving up for a busy Super Bowl weekend! Hope we don't have any trauma flashbacks from last year lol.

Oh yeah Sancerre being tricky in a blind tasting I’d call this...I don’t know it’s so ripe. But that doesn’t mean it ain’t a tasty treat. More stone fruit. Some grass. White pepper and haunting white flower.its skinny fat. Good acid but voluptuous.

Pink grapefruit with pith, green papaya, fresh cut grass, lime zest, cat pee, mild chalk. Long finish. Quite typical and delicious.

The 2018 ‘Anciennes Vignes’ Sancerre is a beautiful new wine by Cottat. The aromatic range is really good from nutty and earthy undertones to wet stone and pink grapefruit blossom aromas that meld in the glass. The weight is fantastic as bright citrus oil and green apple connect with the lovely earthy tones of the wine. This finishes exceedingly long. A fantastic effort, this is best enjoyed in its youth while the brightness remains, although this has the rich texture to cellar over the next five plus years. Drink 2019-2025- 92

Beautiful Sauv Blanc with a complex mineral nose, chalky, wet flint, stone fruits, and are fleshing amount of musky notes. The mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing with a long mineral finish. Digged this wine.

Lime, melon, lemongrass, rubber ball. Immensely dry but supple palate. Onion grass, gravel. Heavy mineral.

Chalky minerality as one would expect. Served too cold but nice acid and a pleasant patio pounder. 👍🏻
