Medium crimson in colour - great clarity. Light to medium bodied with red fruits and plenty of earthy minerality. Low tannins and medium acid. An excellent example of the Northern Etna style - predominantly Nerello Mascalese. A good red for a warm Christmas Eve in Australia.

Looked like an older Nebbiolo with pale brick color and was concerned that perhaps i it was flawed or over the hill. However, still very tightly wound with grainy tannins and good acidity with sour cherry fruit. Excellent.
