2022/8. I do think the great Etna reds are Italy’s Burgundies (if Burgundy was grown on a volcano in the Mediterranean)...perfume, flowery red fruit but with smokier, darker elements and that somehow autumnal thing that seems to run in many classic Italian reds (Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Nerello)
