I've been super into beaujolais lately because I'm a unashamed hipster, francophile and nerd for natural wine. This fulfills all of those urges but isn't without fault. Tons of dark berry flavors and plum. Finishes dry with a almost completely round smooth feel. Nearly too smooth. Not tons of carbonic or weird notes which is probably good for the rest of us. I could see some people getting excited about this that are in to California Pinot or even CDR.

May 2nd, 2016One of my favorite cru beaux. If you live Bourgogne you'll feel the same. Very deeply earthy, restrained fruit, said lid tannic structure- pushing the boundaries of Beaujolais in a direction that successfully harnesses the viticultural tradition of the surrounding area.
