I did a wine dinner with the proprietor of this estate in 2009 and was given this bottle as a gift. She told me to lay it down for 5 years. Well played! This drank beautifully (thick, rich forepalate with tones of herbaceous butterscotch and ripe pineapple; well balanced with solid finishing acidity) and far exceeded my expectations based on the other wines of the estate (pleasant and quaffable but way overpriced by the local distributor). Seek out this wine and the estate's olive oil.
