Nice bright purple appearance in the glass. Wild berries, and sage on the nose. Dark jammy fruit, leather, forest floor, currants, and spice flavors on the palate. Comfortable to drink. Bracingly tannic, in a dry style. The wine is medium bodied, leaning a bit towards medium +. Subtle layered finish, with nice lingering cherries.
