Ponka Friulu-Venezia Giulia White Blend

Good example of an orange wine that is not overly oxidized.

I wanted a bit more but this unfortunately froze in my now defunct wine fridge and some of the wine leaked pass the cork, a shame. All you expect from an amber, oxidized, nutty, savory, some caramelized peach.

Amazing

Äppeljuice-färg. Något oklar. Friska mogna äpplen, viss ek. Tänker på torr fransk cider. Bra syra och fin längd.

Had higher expectations, but ended up very pleased none the less. Aroma reminds of geuze and other lambics. Sour apples, wool, grain, burnt sugar and oak. Suprisingly sweet finish, but a very nice acidity. Paired with scallops. Worked wonders.
