Paradise Springs of Clifton
Virginia Norton
Bought this bottle 5 years ago. I really liked this wine back then but my tastes have changed a lot. I was happy that this turned out to be much more enjoyable than I thought it would. Quite nice.

Jul 19th, 20182015v. My first Norton grape wine. Visually, it looks like merlot- dark purple with lighter rim variation. On the nose, there's plenty of ripe dark plums and blackberries. A good shot of acid hits the palette, followed by baking spices. Tannins are mild. Despite the deep color, the wine feels light in the mouth and finishes fairly clean. A very pleasant wine to drink- like dry alcoholic grape juice, but in a good way. Received as a gift; not sure I would pay retail for it. 13.9% ABV.
