No notes. First encounter w Greek varietal, has some RS, & lovely. A bit viscous. One drinker thought a dry Riesling as tasted blind

Jaune pâle. Nez de fruits blancs, minéral. Une bouche simple, agréable rafraichissante. À servir frais.

Domaine Papagiannakos Savatiano Old Vines 2018: Medium-bodied. Balanced structure. Medium-low acidity. Made from the ancient white Greek grape Savatiano, this wine offers a delicate fruity bouquet and pronounced clean flavors of lemon, lime & green apple. The finish is minerally & dry. Très bon. Sec, plutôt acide mais acceptable, on goûte un peu l’agrume et on détecte un léger pétillant. SAQ $16

I dug this, more in the vein of a Rhone white than a crisp seafood white. Wax, honeydew melon, white flowers.

Nice dry white.
