Wow! This 15 year old Nebbiolo is in a great place.. Nice med-dark ruby, nose of smoke, cedar, bright cherry, and forest floor. Ripe, round, “ahhh-inducing”. Medium weight, viscous, smooth as a baby’s butt! Great acid/tannin/fruit balance. Complex and compelling. Halfway through a very satisfying Italian pasta/chicken parm... you find yourself ignoring the food and literally staring into your glass in wonder. A very impressive and almost mature Barolo. Patience rewarded!
