Think this is the wine but no bottle present in a 3-wine Piedmont wine flight at the Grove Restaurant, Austin, TX. This 2017 vintage vino "checks the boxes" for a finer Barbera...this one compares well to the better ones... a month ago in Piedmont, Italy where we drank several of the Asti-Alba Barberas but not this one - better but not best in class. Tasty balanced subtle easy palate worthy of "swirl", delicious medium to deep dark berry flavor, perfect tannins...fine nose, legs...best of the Piedmont flight. Buy again...
