Been thinking about this since first trying it months ago (and forgetting to tag). Thanks to our good friends for brining to a big, red sauce dinner out. Dark, with strong iodine and dried fruit on nose. Dried fruit and herb, with the longest, fine grained tannic finish I can remember. Perfect decanted and with a veal chop. Maybe best I’ve had this year.

Still pretty tannic. Could she at least another 5 years.
