A highly unexpected treat shown at PDX Feast. Luscious, from a warm year, unfurling waves of gorgeous flavors! There is an elegance, a musicality if you will, that I've only felt with Chambolle-Musigny at play in this treasure. Wow!

I picked up a bottle of the saturated ruby red '06 Panther Creek Pinot Noir '20th Anniversary Reserve at the winery. Beautifully scented aromas of sweet dark cherry, black pepper and cola. Big velvety mouthfeel on the palate with jammy berry and spice notes. Some nice acidic tartness and silky tannins on the concentrated finish. I definitely should have bought more than one.
