Subida Santa Ynez Valley Tocai Friulano
Wow! Matcha, chamomile, touch of hazelnut. Umami to the nth degree. Tannins resolved; just a savory, complete treat. #palmina #tocai

Aug 23rd, 2018Tocai Friulano fermented on skins then left to macerate for 36 days. Orange wine with predominant notes of kernel and grilled lemons. Food needed for optimal enjoyment. 2011 vintage.

Jun 6th, 2018I don't always drink orange wine. In fact, I never do. But when I do, I enjoy @palminawines 'Subida'. Sweet/Savory, soy ginger. Bring on the sushi. @ChrystalClifton

A deep golden straw color. Aromas of apricot and white peach. Give your glass a little time and swirling to introduce the aroma. The texture is rich, clean and smooth. On the nose (after time) are hints of almond and sickle pear. There is a suggestion of acidity which provides a balance. Excellent.
