Exceptional. Not gonna try to get into how the earth was smooth yet berry-filled. Like if you could make a juice of puréed mud, silk and blueberries, which should be disgusting. But is the opposite: The Best. Tasted at Republique in LA.

Massively tannic.. This wine needs at least 10-years in the cellar to soften, and it already spent 5-years in barrel. Yes, 5-years.. Interesting wine, but already showing a bit of a porty characteristic. From the extended barrel aging I'd assume.

Tasty. Not truly Nebbiolo in the classic sense. But a ripe and forward American version. Lots of unusual nuances- ripe mushroom; tart black berries.

Not nearly as good as the 2008 Muncagotta Produttori we had last week, but close enough, and a valiant effort.

Had a bright front taste , lighter body and much better after opening up . A little musty and tasted much better with food . Probably wouldn’t buy again

Funky, ‘natural’ quality. Fresh raspberries. Tart/sour pucker...Very different for a Nebbiolo but delicious none the less.

Delicious wine that is well balanced with acidity and tannins making this an excellent pairing with lamb. The fruit is not overwhelmed by the tannins or acidity. Such a joy to drink.
