Mar 21st, 2015Nice effort staying true to Dolcetto. This CA wine has a Piemonte soul. Intense aromas of earth, sour cherry and flowers. Silky light-medium body. Has a bit of structure and lengthy clean finish. 13.5 alc. but still balanced. Anytime a Californian chooses less popular grapes, I give it a try because it's usually a labor of love.
