Very like G. Conterno's Cascina Francia Barbera...not quite as tannic, but with a similar acidic-grape-drink-for-discerning-grown-ups vibe. I can't wait to have this with a burger.

This wine made me happy. Open 3 days, it made me ecstatic. Far riper than Piedmont, but goddamn Barbera!

Very nice 2004. Definitely heavy on the berry flavor. Earthy, tobacco, cherry flavor.
