Bought for a Italian wine tasting a couple years ago, that I never went to. Few Italian wines in my background, but loved this. Ink dark, deep dried berry, moist dirt, tobacco, leather, and a hint of funk. With lamb chops dusted with fennel pollen. Very happy!

Dried rose pedals, cherry reduction, tar on a very seductive nose. Mouth coating red fruit with a hint of minerality. Excellent balance of tannins and acidity. Medium plus to long finish that keeps you coming back!
