Surprisingly, this is significantly over oaked, although there’s plenty of density and freshness mid-palate. Usually this producer is very reliable for me. But if I had another bottle I’d give it 5 years at least and I still wouldn’t be optimistic.

Reminiscent of Alba! Excellent with pizza. Fresh and elegant, yet robust at the same time. Fantastic Barbera!!
