Started off a bit simple and a touch sweet, but became more balanced and interesting with about 45 minutes of air. Good value. 50% Cab Sauv, 25% Merlot, 25% Cab Franc.

Really nice cab blend that’s ready to go with about 30 minutes of air. The bottle is ridiculously large and heavy, but the wine is not. It’s well balanced, smooth, and has just enough complexity to keep my attention. Good QPR from Last Bottle, where I paid $35. I think standard retail might be $45-ish and that’s still a good price for what’s in the bottle.

If you’re in the mood for a really dark, rich wine, this is great! We were at a fancy dancy restaurant in Napa called Press and it smelled a bit bready. But that could be because they just brought out a fresh basket of bread. This would be great with a nice smooth cigar.
