Had this with a cheese, meats, bread and fruit spread. Delicioso. Very dry when drank without food.

Very closed at first, but 2 hrs in a wide-bottom decanter solved that problem. After that, stunning nose with cherry, wild strawberry, blood orange, and a touch of minty herbs. Aromatically very compelling. On the palate, wonderfully light, but clear presence with blood orange, bitter dark cherry, and juicy acidity. Slightly bitter finish. The tannin is a bit grainy and unrefined, but I'm sure it will round out with time.
