Mmmm....magnum. Exhibits the best of Nebbiolo. 2001 vintage still tight, therefore young, but is amazing now too, of course. Massive nose of rose hips, a combination of red and dark fruits, cocoa, leather, pepper, etc. mmmmmm

Still tight after an hour of decanting. Nice raspberry, cherry, licorish and smoke notes. Great with lamb.

Dark cherry with minimal bricking. Aroma of truffle and licorice. Tart dark cherry, leather with high acid and a bit of residual sweet tannins. Long finish. Traditional Barbaresco at peak. Long live ahead. Look for their Barolo.

Super structured, drinks a lot younger than it is. Firm tannins still. Notes of fennel.
