Definitely not one you see everyday! Was this good? Yes. Worth the buck? It depends. For a bunch of white wine drinkers that want a popular chardonnay, this one delivers. BUT, I dare say that it is probably nearing the downward. Nose is honeysuckle and some lemon. The wine starts out with a nice crisp acidity with a good mixture of tropical and yellow fruits, has some herbal action going on towards the middle. Nice salinity. Little bit of marzipan. Not gonna get any better in the bottle.
