Brought back from winery in 2015 with Richard Hersch and drank tonight with him. Smooth greatly fruit and balanced with no tannins. Delicious and perfect drinking window. Complex /depth /yummy

One of Carraovejas’ top single-vineyard wines, blend of Tempranillo (81%) with some Merlot (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (7%). Fermented in oak vats and aged in new oak barrels for 12 months, and 3 years in bottle before release. Dark fruit, hints of mint, probably from the Merlot. Full-bodied, ripe, powerful.
