Herbal and savory, completely dry, some bitter orange but overall very little fruit, phenolic bitterness. Very interesting wine, but not my favorite

Only skin-fermented Riesling in the Western Hemisphere? Riesling white peach notes meld with classic "orange" notes of apricot jam, bitter orange and perfume. A bit of kaffir lime? Incisive texture, great balance overall. Very clean for an orange wine. @Bobby Gilbane where are you man?

Likely one of the first, if not THE first, full skin-contact, real "amber" wine iteration of domestic Riesling on the market. Simultaneously rich and concentrated yet full of vibrancy and energy. Rich nose of dried apricot and bruised nectarine, wet slate, and orange blossom and jasmine, with more subtle tones of chai tea and classic Riesling petrol. Palate echoes the nose with a just bit more emphasis placed on mineral intensity, plus a slight phenolic bitterness. Dry; acid is medium (+), body is medium but with lovely texture from phenolic extraction and fine lees aging in neutral barrel. Medium (-) intensity of fine grained tannins. An impeccable, intriguing wine, and I hope that Bill continues to make "orange" Rieslings such as this because they're a splendid example that shows that Riesling is certainly a fine candidate for the extended skin contact treatment.

Skin fermented. Interesting stuff, almond and apricots, good acid. Not sure this is my jam.

In full disclosure I have enjoyed few orange wines (think white wines of white of grey grapes that have macerated on their skins like a red wine would in terms of length of skin contact). This however is from squeaky clean Riesling that has spent a month or so on its skins until November and even so is pure and clear, citric and textural, with chirpy tannins, marmalade and apricot pastry. Even the next day it resonated round the whole palate and if anything rocked its back into its orange structure. Delicious and one of a kind.

Interesting and savory as an orange wine, but not seeing the Riesling through the skins.
