The Pacific Redwood brand of wine continues to pleasantly surprise me. This 2018 merlot has a lovely body and a nice fruity smooth taste. Low in tannins. Paired well with orzo and Italian sausage with tomato sauce and cheese.

Lovely color. Dark. Also smells of dark fruits. Flavors are also hearty and dark. A bit heavy on wood. Nice jammy, chocolate finish. A sorta CA CLASSIC Merlot.
