Don't even know why I bother sometimes with Argentinian Malbec.

Smells of decaying citrus, which follows through to the taste buds. Electric lively acidity that overshadows the dried fruit leather.
Not like your usual, meatier Malbec. This reminds one of a light, loire Cab Franc.

Much better after you let it breathe for a bit. Mellowed out and was much smoother when allowed to rest.

Paid a paltry amount for this wine in order to try a Patagonian Malbec. Good nose, smooth, low (unnoticeable) tannin, but lacking body and depth of flavour that was short lasting. 14.4% abv but you wouldn't know it. Easy drinking.
