2011 vintage - cherries, cocoa, some spice and cedar. A little age has done it well.

Nice, subtle wine. Great by itself or with food. Would be something I would drink with friends if I could see them!

This was a fun one to drink, I got a kick of flavors ranging from the limestone to exotic vegetation of the islands, a real treat. The alcohol content seems in the higher range, which frankly I like, but not overpowering, which seems to be the difference between Oyster Bay and some other offerings of New Zealand Pinot Noirs.
