The body makes it seem overly serious, then up pops caramelised fruit with a hint of spice. Perfect for half a glass, but otherwise a little heavy for me.

Blue and black fruits abound. Juicy and fleshy but lacking acidity to keep it interesting. Medium finish. Found it too sweet for my taste but, worth a shot.

Really funky aroma, like Welch’s grape juice, earth, cigarette smoke, & socks. Tangy, funky front. Notes of underripe red fruit, currant, blackberry, & black cherry. Unsweet baking chocolate & sticks on the finish. Grippy & inky. Medium acidity. Medium tannin. Weird... think it might actually be a little corked.
