Abbot's Table Columbia Valley Zinfandel Blend

This is absolutely delicious. Big and dark but with supple tannin and good acidity. Very impressive.

Like sitting next to a babbling brook with aromas of wet stones and brambly raspberries. Fleshy flavors of smoked meat and ripe cherry. Great acidity, smooth tannins and pleasant medium length finish.

Fruit forward on the nose. Very hard to tell all the smells. Very young wine at 2012. Wondering if it will open up as it ages. Very big juiciness on tongue. Big black plums. Slight dryness mid palate. Very soft finish. Not overly impressed.

Some nice body to this but too juicy/grapey for me. No tannins here. And that is sad.

Wine club red with Joe

Big red table wine. Carmel and cherry that drifts to a huge finish in the nose of dark cherry.

This was a surprise to some in the group; very fragrant upon opening. Let it breathe overnight and it's even better today. Complex, smooth, bold. Purchased at Anderson's Maumee.

Light and smooth. Pairs with a wide variety of foods. Patty likes it.

Well, this wine pretty tasty. It will work for a Friday 3:00 bottle!
