May 16th, 2014Great example of letting the varietals marry and partner with the oak to create a wonderful experience in your mouth! The glass stopper is novel, and the wine is a perfect prelude to the premium beef that was consumed afterwards. This wine is still a little young.

Dec 29th, 2018Great balance and oak treatment. Warm simmering baking spices on the nose. Tart red fruit that was still tight after 2 hours in the decanter. Could actually use more time in the bottle. Label says .04% Petit Verdot but I could swear itβs closer to .05-.06%. Maybe even .07%. I go back and forth.

Nov 17th, 2017This wine is amazingly cab franc centric, on the nose and on the palette. We decanted the wine for one hour and it was extremely approachable. The Cabernet is in the back palette and a very nice accent that grows in your mouth as the wine finishes.

Dec 26th, 2015We allowed it to decant for a couple of hours. Started tight, but is smooth. Started with a little spice, which seemed to disappear as it opened up more. Lots of fruit flavor
