May 22nd, 2015Outpost PS. interestingly enough; you may want to drink this no later than next year. Very nice and almost oaky.

Dec 14th, 2014Still a monster, but starting to open up. Tons of black fruit/brambles. Big tannins. Super ripe.

Jan 1st, 2014Unusual for a petite in my experience. This was very plush, napa red. With some air, it came across as pretty resolved. Drink up.

Sep 6th, 2020Hedonistic nose. Gamey peppery and seductive nose with some salty herbaceousnees along with darker and sweeter entry. More rounded than I thought for an 11. Robust mouthfeel, sure to improve over the next few years. Bit this is a wine to hold over the next 10 or so years without a doubt. @Shay A , Novotny opened this about 10 minutes after you left. It was good, but I was expecting a lot more from a Howell Mountain PS!

Dec 29th, 2018Couldn’t help myself. Silky smooth. 15.5% abv, but you hardly notice it. So ridiculously purple, so ridiculously good
