Otokoyama Tokubetsu Junmai Sake

Probably one of the driest sakes I’ve ever had. Not sure what that says about me. I bought it’d be better considering the dryness, but it was lacking in flavor and had some heat to it. Although it did go incredibly well with the nigiri. A bit thin.

Elegant, fruity and floral

Elegant, tropical fruit.

Mountain river fresh. Quite juicy and clean.

Smooth, not sharp. Rounded and creamy in the mid palate.

Tropical fruits galore. Good smooth, casual drinking.

Hokkaido prestige true sake hella smooth

Trying the “special brewing” for the first time and it was great. Really nice. You never really know what makes it special but I took a chance.

With Rosella omikase. Fruity and smooth. Excellent pair.

Produced in Hokkaido.

E perfetto con sashimi di tonno, tonno grosso e bluefin. Non mi piace il sake piu sofisticato. Beviamo fredo oggi, volemmo bere caldo domani.
